Bosch ESI[truck] software update expands vehicle coverage

New software additions include extended coverage for electronic control systems, wiring diagrams, fault codes, and troubleshooting by trouble code procedures.

Bosch released a new software version 2019/1 for the ESI[truck] that offers new coverage additions aimed to save technicians time. In addition to the ESI[truck] software, a new Off-Highway Software package is also available, giving technicians the ability to diagnose construction and agricultural vehicles.

New software additions include extended coverage for electronic control systems, wiring diagrams, fault codes and troubleshooting by trouble code procedures. These additions cover 228 different makes and 5,578 models including expanded coverage for several heavy duty brands such as: Allison, Bendix, Cummins, Eaton, Navistar, Freightliner and more. Light and medium duty coverage has also been expanded for Ford, GMC/Chevrolet, Hino, Mercedes-Benz, Isuzu and Mitsubishi-Fuso USA.

The 3824CBL-UPG Off-Highway Upgrade Cable Kit and introductory Software enables the Bosch ESI[truck] diagnostic solution to be used on a wide variety of off-highway vehicles and machinery. The new Off-Highway software coverage is now available for the ESI[truck] and includes diagnostic coverage for construction, agricultural, stationary engines, street sweepers and more. Additional vehicle coverage with the new update covers John Deere, Fendt, Caterpillar, Kubota, Volvo CE, Deutz, Perkins and more.
