Welcome to the first ever PTEN Innovation Awards People’s Choice survey! This year, for the first time in history, we’re giving you a voice by letting you vote for your choice of most innovative products recently introduced to the automotive aftermarket. Dubbed “People’s Choice,” we want YOU to choose the top products submitted for consideration in the 2014 PTEN Innovation Awards.
(CLICK HERE TO TAKE THE SURVEY)
This survey is designed to be quick and relatively painless. It will take you less than five minutes to complete – unless you choose to get more information on any of the products. (Get this extra product info by clicking on the underlined product name within the survey.) The survey includes six questions. Each question features one of six broad categories: Diagnostics, Hardlines, In the Shop, Power / Air Tools, Underhood and Under Vehicle. You can select UP TO FIVE products in each category, that you deem worthy as most innovative.
Guidelines for voting
We know that you haven’t had a chance to purchase every single product on this list. We ask that you use your best judgment based on your experience in the shop with past repairs, and the tools and equipment you’ve used to complete these repairs.
When you’re reviewing the products, consider these questions:
- I’ve never seen a product like this before. This is a new or ingenious idea that would save me time.
- I’ve seen products like this, but the features / functionality of this product would really save me more time with repairs.
- I’ve seen products like this, but a feature of this product really improves on existing products out there.
- I’ve used this product, and it has saved me time/helped me complete a repair I couldn’t have done previously.
$100 gift card
If that isn’t enough, one random voter will be selected to win a $100 Visa gift card. If you’d like to be considered for this drawing, be sure to enter your contact info at the end of the survey.
