The recent COVID-19 global virus outbreak is forcing us to make some difficult decisions. We at Motor Age, Professional Tool & Equipment News, and Technician's Service Training (TST) take the health and wellness of technicians and shop owners very seriously. Without your health, you cannot successfully serve your customers and keep drivers safe on the roads. With that in mind, we have made the tough decision to postpone the debut Commitment to Training Live Event to November 14. This was the best option for rescheduling at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Chicago – Rosemont, Illinois.
Why are you postponing the event?
The original May 9 date falls near the end of an eight-week window proposed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The CDC asked companies to avoid gatherings of 10 or more people during that eight-week period. Given the uncertainty of the virus and how long the current crisis may last, we decided to play it safe by complying with all suggested guidelines from the CDC to safeguard the well-being of our attendees.
What if I already registered for the event?
You are all set! We will hold your seat for the November 14 date. If you are unable to make it to the event on this new date, contact Marketing Manager Michael Willins at [email protected].
I registered for a hotel room. Do I need to change my reservation?
No. We have worked with Embassy Suites by Hilton Chicago – Rosemont on your behalf, and your room has been moved to the same nights for the November 14 date.
Will the agenda change for the training courses being offered?
No. Our agenda will remain intact with our current team of highly skilled trainers.
The new date works better for my schedule. Can I still sign up?
Absolutely. While we have more time for you to make plans, early bird pricing will be extended to October 1. Registering now will ensure you save $25, getting the full day of training, time with vendors, door prizes, raffles, and more for only $124.
I have a question and would like to talk to someone. Who could I contact?
If your question isn’t answered here in regards to the debut Commitment to Training Event, please send an email to Marketing Manager Michael Willins [email protected]. If you have additional questions about COVID-19, please visit cdc.gov.
