The CTA Lower Control Arm Pulling Tool, No. 3802, is designed to make removing lower ball joints easier. It works by hooking over the lower control arm, then using a pry bar to easily pull the control arm down and out of the way in order to service the lower ball joint. This eliminates the need for an extra pair of hands during removal. It’s designed to work with any 7/8” diameter pry bar on domestic, European, and Asian vehicles. To note, the larger hook end grabs hold of the control arm and the smaller 3/4" circle end is for inserting the pry bar.
