Q. How did the tool/equipment function as far as saving you time?

A. This funnel holder has magnets so it can be placed vertically on any metal surface which is perfect for mounting on a lift post, toolbox, roll cart, or a metal shelf. You can either have one for each lift or move it to the lift that you are working on nearby. The mobile nature of this funnel holder can cut a technician’s steps down per day which saves time.

Q. How has using this tool impacted your shop’s profitability?

A. We have decided to purchase more of these funnel holders since installing them is as easy as placing them on a vertical metal surface. Having several of these placed strategically around the shop increases our shop’s efficiency overall. Increased efficiency improves profitability.

Q. What kind of setup was involved before using the product?

A. There’s no setup. Just take the funnel holder out of the package and place it on any vertical metal surface.

Q. How easy was it to use?

A. It is very easy to use. There’s nothing to it.

Q. How was its packaging? Did it come with any accessories?

A. This funnel comes in a clear plastic bag with cardboard stapled to the top for display. There are no accessories included.

Q. Was there a manual included? If so, did you use the manual, and was the manual easy to understand?

A. There is no manual included. A manual is not required.

Q. What features did you like?

A. I like the construction. It feels very sturdy and long-lasting. I like that the top has an offset compared to the bottom so larger funnels will clear the mounting surface. I like that magnets secure this funnel holder to any vertical metal surface making it easy to move around the shop if needed. I also like that it’s transparent so you can see if the fluid captured at the bottom needs to be drained.

Q. Is there any way you could think to improve or add to this tool?

A. Lisle offers several different funnels of different shapes and sizes and offers some covered funnels. We like to cover our funnels, so they stay clean. Although not really an improvement, I hope they will consider making a kit that includes a covered funnel in the future. Maybe the kit would include a hook to hold the funnel cover when the funnel is in use.

Q. What types of jobs/repairs did you use this tool for?

A. We used this to store our funnel anytime a funnel was needed. We usually used this holder for oil and filter services.

Q. Have you used a previous version of this tool? If so, what are some new features compared to the old version?

A. We have a couple of Funnel Buddy’s in the shop. We like these because the mounting device naturally covers the funnel to keep it clean, but this design has to be secured to the wall using bolts. I feel that the Lisle Funnel Holder is quicker to use.

Q. On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate this tool overall? Why?

A. 10. I would recommend this funnel holder to anyone who works on vehicles. Professionally, out of necessity, or for a hobby.
