The California/Nevada/Arizona Automotive Wholesalers' Association (CAWA) is a non-profit trade association representing automotive aftermarket parts manufacturers, jobbers, warehouse distributors and retailers in the three states it serves. The Association was formed in 1955 and serves as the voice of the aftermarket parts industry in the West. CAWA prides itself on quality customer service to its members and the industry.

Legislative and regulatory advocacy is a hallmark benefit and service of the Association. CAWA has joined forces out West with our national counterpart, the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association(AAIA) to assure the industry is represented in the Sacramento, Carson City, Phoenix, and Washington D.C. capitols and government administrative offices. Issues of critical importance to the aftermarket industry oftentimes originate in California and migrate to other states in the nation. As such, CAWA provides for the first line of defense for the automotive aftermarket industry.

CAWA also provides many business services to its membership. From free legal services to business insurances and training, CAWA has earned the reputation of being the premiere aftermarket parts trade association out West.

CAWA Mission

The mission of CAWA is to provide communications, education, legislative and regulatory advocacy and group purchasing of services for its members while promoting the automotive aftermarket industry.

Code of Ethics

We believe in the American system of free enterprise and we are aware of our responsibility to our customers, our employees, our manufacturers, our competitors, our industry and our government.

CAWA Volunteer Leadership

The membership of CAWA and the automotive aftermarket industry recognize the commitment of the Association's leadership and thanks them for their time and energy in promoting and protecting the interests of the industry in California, Nevada, Arizona, and Washington D.C.

The volunteer leadership of CAWA gives of their time, resources and intellect to assure the aftermarket's voice is heard in state and federal legislative capitols and in the halls of government administration. Furthermore, the Association's leadership contemplates and researches ways to positively impact the aftermarket's profitability and market share through studies, industry alerts and the provision of quality, competitive programs and services.

CAWA is grateful for the commitment of these individuals and as a member of the aftermarket industry, you should be too. It is because of their service and dedication, the industry is assured to continue its vibrancy and profitability in an ever changing future.
