Robert Bosch LLC, manufacturer and worldwide supplier of windshield wiping systems to vehicle manufacturers and the aftermarket, announced the introduction of its InSight Wiper Blade, an innovative, premium hybrid beam blade based on Bosch patented beam technology. Bosch InSight provides maximum wiping performance in all driving conditions.

The Bosch InSight premium hybrid design is unique in the market,” said Martin Kashnowski, director, product management, wiper systems, Robert Bosch LLC Automotive Aftermarket NA. “For consumers who prefer a hybrid blade, Bosch InSight brings the additional advantages of Bosch patented beam blade technology to the conventional hybrid design.”

The enclosed hybrid construction of Bosch InSight, minimizes gaps to reduce snow and ice buildup. It is based on Bosch beam technology, utilizing a graphite-coated, natural rubber wiping edge with patented internal tension spring, versus the conventional style claws of other hybrid blades. The tension spring is precisely contoured to the windshield, providing consistent pressure along the entire length of the blade for improved and reliable wiping performance and a longer service life. Additionally, an integrated spoiler makes for a consistently clear wipe even when the vehicle is being driven at a high speed.

The Bosch InSight program is comprised of 12 part numbers providing 91 percent coverage of hook and pin applications for domestic, Asian and European vehicles. Available lengths include 13" to 22", 24", 26" and 28" blades. Installation is quick and easy. Bosch InSight comes in a pillow box package with blue graphics reflecting the Bosch Wiper Blade family design.

InSight further extends the Bosch Wiper Blade aftermarket portfolio with a unique hybrid design that offers automotive service and sales professionals the opportunity to fit their individual customers’ needs and preferences precisely.

“For almost 80 years, Bosch has been a major contributor to the design and development of wiper blade technology, both at the original equipment level and in the aftermarket. The introduction of Bosch Insight is consistent with the rich Bosch history of innovation in the wiper blade category,” Kashnowski said.
