Industry loses veteran Matt McGuire

Longtime aftermarket industry veteran Matthew T. McGuire passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 59 years old. Matt McGuire served more than 39 years in the automotive aftermarket industry, most recently as director of traditional sales for Motorcar Parts of America.

“His industry insights, knowledge and experience were highly regarded by all customers during his many years in the industry.  Matt will be remembered as a consummate gentleman by those that had the pleasure of working with him. Matt will also be remembered for his love of his family, the automotive industry, music, and kart racing. He will be deeply missed by all. Please keep Matt and his family in your thoughts and prayers,” said Gary DelGreco, vice president of traditional sales. 

Matt is survived by his wife of 34 years, Pamela; two sons, Dan’l and Brandon (Alyssa); two grandchildren, Caid’n and Ellyana, and a soon-to-be-born grandchild.
