ZEVs, GHG3, electrification: These have been common terms and themes thrown around in recent months in the trucking industry and this newsletter. We know what they mean, but in this edition, we’re going beneath the surface to try to understand not only the current state of transitioning from diesel to electric trucks, but what’s next. The EPA is mandating, and rewarding EV adoption, but there are those not quite ready to get in line with its ambitious plans, nor think they’re realistic. But even as some dig their heels in, others are embracing the energy transition with open arms: from companies to industries to counties, many are ready for what’s next.
