It’s been a rough year for the electric vehicle sector: Slowing growth rates, OEMs and start ups alike retreating from production goals, and even a bankruptcy have many wondering about the future. There are many paths to turning things around, some of which we’ve included here, including fewer financial hurdles and addressing the ever-present chicken-or-egg charging question.
It’s also important to listen, whether it be to truckers on EV mandates, electricians on charger installations, or even executives on consumer buying patterns. Above all, though, remember that history is full of good but hard transitions that were worth it in the end.
