Upgraded Charger Performance Associated Equipment announces the upgrades of two of their biggest made in the U.S.A units: Models 6001A and 6002B. The upgrades provide quicker recharging of batteries and more effective starting assist of vehicles. Model 6002B, a heavy-duty fleet charger, now has a 400 amp engine start unit at 12 volts, is 6/12/18/24 volt rated and now has 80 amps of continuous charge at 12 volts. Its cranking assist rating has been increased by 33% over the previous model. Model 6001A is a heavy-duty 6 and 12 volt charger and now provides 375 amp cranking assist and 75 amps of continuous charge. The cranking assist at 12 volts is 25% higher than its predecessor.
