This bulletin applies to 2016-2024 Chevy Camaro vehicles equipped with an LGX, LT1 or LT4 engine. The check engine light may be on and/or an exhaust noise may be heard.

Replace the RDM lubricant with Dexron LS 75W90 (P/N 9986290). Bring the new lube up to operating temperature. Perform multiple figure eight or lock-steer maneuvers to work the lubricant into the clutch pack.

The rear defroster electrical connector is a one-time use design. If it comes loose or is removed for any reason, it must be replaced.

Reprogram the PCM to the latest calibration using IDS release 107.01 or higher.

If no leaks are detected in the A/C system and the A/C system appears to be functioning properly, update the K114B PCM 2 with the latest software.

Detecting excessive female terminal spread can be challenging, especially with micro female terminals. The pin tension gauge simplifies the process by allowing a quick and easy check of female terminals to ensure a secure connection.

Clean the area and check whether there is moisture underneath the protective sleeve. If there is no moisture in this area, re-assess the complaint and continue evaluating the rest of the brake system. The photo here shows a dry state.
