Never Ending Expansions Snap-on has expanded their MODIS' emissions testing capabilities with their new EEEA300A Flexible Gas Analyzer with MODIS interface. The new Gas Analyzer tests HC, CO, CO2, O2 and NO and technicians can also use the analyzer with other display devices such as a personal computer or hand held PC. The system's software provides individual or simultaneous displays of emission results for the gases being tested and enables users to select from a variety of options for displaying results with graphs and ranges. A specifications database within the system places test results within pass/fail limits. This unit weighs only 10 lbs. and can display results in less than 15 seconds, with only a minute of warm up time. The Flexible Gas Analyzer is completely portable and comes in 3 options: Snap-on's MODIS system, Windows/PC or Pocket PC.
