With Hofmann's fully-automatic, total ride performance Geodyna Optima wheel balancer, techs clamp the wheel via the power clamp and closes the wheel guard. Optical technology inputs all wheel parameters, identifies wheel type, recommends tape or clip weights and counts spokes. Tape weight placement can be done via data set arm or laser pointer. Tire/Rim runout is measured by non touch technology for single "break and turn" matching.
