Safety-Trim offers a single wheel nut management system for wheel loss prevention on commercial vehicles. Each system is molded from a synthetic fiber which is highly resistant to heat and friction. The casing exhibits a chemical “memory” that allows it to revert to its original shape. In operation, Safety-Trim senses and stops nut movement to prevent wheel loss. The at-a-glance safety device provides individual visual indication when a wheel nut is backing off. A fluorescent marker appears and the action simultaneously “locks” the nut’s position on the wheel hub and prevents additional nut back-off. The system is easily adapted to individual wheel designs.
