Features and benefits

These ratchet delivers 120 positions in a 360-degree rotation which gives it a 3-degree swing arc. This allows it to turn fasteners in extremely cramped spaces. In addition to this, the low profile head and flush mounted on/off switch allow better access in tight spaces.

Origin

GearWrench is constantly engaged in user-research, with one of the most common pieces of feedback being that techs need access in more and more confined spaces. To give them more access the company designed a ratchet that could work with a very small swing arc. This will allow users to do their job faster, and should mean they don't need to remove additional parts to gain access to the actual component they are trying to reach.

Specs

The body (head/handle) of all 120XP ratchets are made of premium alloy steel for strength and durability. The pawls and ratchet gear are made of a proprietary steel alloy specifically designed for durability under extreme stress loading. 120XP ratchets are tested using recommended ASME testing procedures. They significantly exceed required ASME specifications, including those for torque overload.
