City of Miramar employs FVS for maintenance services

FVS provides vehicle maintenance services for the local police and fire department

First Vehicle Services (FVS), a leader of contract fleet maintenance and management services, was recently awarded a three-year fleet maintenance contract with the City of Miramar for the vehicle maintenance of the city's police department. This contract includes vehicle and equipment maintenance, parts procurement and inventory management for more than 300 vehicles within the local police department. FVS will employ a maintenance staff of four ASE Certified technicians. Currently, FVS provides vehicle maintenance services for the fire department of the City of Miramar, with two additional EVT/ASE Certified technicians. The contract for the police department went into effect Sept. 17, 2012.

FVS intends to design maintenance solutions that significantly reduce costs while increasing fleet effectiveness.
