Webb Wheel Aftermarket fills new Director of Fleet Business Management position

Company hires Vernon Pruitt to fill the new position of director of fleet business development.

The Aftermarket Business Unit of Webb Wheel Products Inc. has hired Vernon Pruitt to fill the new position of director of fleet business development. In this role, Pruitt will be leading Webb’s Aftermarket Business’ initiative focusing on meeting the needs of fleet operators for premium and innovative wheel-end replacement products in support of their established distribution channel customers.

Pruitt joins Webb after spending more than two decades with Navistar International holding various positions with ever increasing responsibilities, most recently as director of sales for UpTime Parts. His experience with Navistar includes managing dealer operations and direct communications with major fleet accounts. This background along with his familiarity with Webb products will be important assets as the company adds a more direct line of communication with vehicle operators to supplement their already strong presence in the replacement market. Pruitt holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Mississippi State University and will be relocating with his family to the Cullman, AL regional area.
