The GearWrench Mid-Length Socket allows users to get access in difficult situations where a deep socket needs to be used, but it cannot fit due to the clearance required. Both the 1/4" drive mid-length sockets and the 3/8" drive mid-length sockets are 0.7" shorter than the equivalent GearWrench deep sockets, giving this extra clearance. The sockets also feature speed angled entry to guide the socket on to the fastener, polished finished, highly visible sizes and units of measurement and high strength to prevent stripping fasteners.
