The California/Arizona/Nevada Automotive Wholesalers' Association (CAWA) will present an afternoon of training and information on industry issues at the Meritage Resort in Napa, Calif. on Friday, Feb. 17. The program from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. includes lunch and the following presentations:
"What Occurs Nationally Clearly Affects the Auto Care Industry and Your Business" by Kathleen Schmatz, president, Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA).
"What is EBAY Motors Doing that Impacts the Traditional Aftermarket" by Jim Grubbs, EBAY Motors.
"Why Industry Consolidation is Important to Your Business" by Tom Marx, The Marx Group.
Association Business will include: 1) legislative update, 2) insurance report, and 3) Nevada and Arizona reports.
Cost is $29 for members and $39 for non-members. The registration deadline is Jan. 30.
