Alliance Truck Parts, one of the leading all-makes parts brands in the commercial transportation industry, has expanded its remanufactured brake shoe and kit product line to include new EG brake lining options. The new brake lining options, rated for use on tandem axle tractor trailers up to 20,000 lbs, are manufactured for performance and durability.

For customers seeking superior results, the new brake lining options provide excellent performance when combined with the Alliance brake drum, ABP N42A1657VB. In fact, when paired together, the new brake linings and existing Alliance brake drum have surpassed the dynamometer requirement of the FMVSS 121 brake standard at a 20,000-lb GAWR.

“We’re proud of the expanded brake lining options and particularly of the quality we’ve achieved on these critical parts,” said Wayne Turner, aftermarket product marketing manager for Daimler Trucks North America. “We’ve been working with our distribution network and customers to meet the market demand for quality wheel end products at a good price. These new brake lining options in our remanufactured brake shoe kits do just that; they provide
customers with a quality product at a great price.”

Alliance brake linings are backed by a 1-year/unlimited-mile nationwide warranty serviceable at over 800 locations including Freightliner, Sterling, Western Star and Thomas Built Buses dealerships in the U.S. and Canada, and Travel Centers of America and Petro locations nationwide. The linings are available today and may be ordered from any Alliance Truck Parts dealer.
