The Lock Technology Universal Hub Shocker, No. LT830, removes frozen hubs instantly by striking the 2” square metal tube with a heavy hammer. The Hub Shocker is a universal fit for all hubs and will not damage axles. It mounts to a hub using two lug nuts and two 9/16” fender washers. To use, technicians should rotate the hub so the Hub Shocker is located at the 12 o’clock position. Then, technicians should strike the Hub Shocker on top of the square metal tubing using 3-lb hammer, or heavier. The downward force will remove the hub from the axle.
