PeopleNet, a Trimble company and provider of fleet mobility technology, announced the implementation of four newly developed business lines to better serve its customers’ unique needs. They are trucking, energy services, video intelligence and channels/OEMs.

The largest PeopleNet division is trucking, which will be served by its new general manager, Mark Kessler. In this role, Kessler and his team will continue delivering excellent customer service to PeopleNet’s nearly 2,500 fleets. In addition, this division will focus its efforts on innovating new products and services to help fleets deliver more KPI’s and analytics in order to give fleets a competitive advantage in the marketplace.

“At PeopleNet, our efforts to create transformative technology solutions that cultivate more efficient fleets and ultimately lead to safer roads for drivers will continue to grow. We see great opportunities in the current marketplace, with adoption of mobile technology at record pace,” said Kessler. “I’m looking forward to closely collaborating with the leaders of PeopleNet’s energy services, OEM, and video divisions, as well as other Trimble leaders dedicated to transportation and logistics. We’ve worked together in the trucking industry for nearly 15 years, and we recognize that each division is critical to achieving overall success and ultimately transforming the transportation industry.”
