Reading Truck Body, LLC, a manufacturer of vocational truck bodies, plans to announce new solutions at the 2015 Work Truck Show in Indianapolis, Ind.
The company will showcase five truck bodies in its space (booth#3259), which will also feature the first two-story display by an exhibitor at the show.
“As one of the most important trade shows for our industry, we always have a lot to say at The Work Truck Show,” said Brian Nadel, president and CEO of The Reading Group, LLC. “Once again, we have raised the bar by bringing innovative solutions to the industry. This year in particular, we are excited to hear reactions from those who visit our booth. Our new introductions are both diverse and comprehensive. Yet, they share a common thread of thoughtful design meant to encourage the best experiences for our customers.
”Attendees at the show will see the following five Reading truck bodies:
Classic II Service Body
The striking, red aluminum truck body features the newly introduced C2-60S options package, which was developed to celebrate the company’s 60-year anniversary in 2015. The package includes some of Reading’s most popular features, including Latch-Matic SmartShield remote keyless locking system with hands-free key fob and audible alarm capabilities, bright finish aluminum diamond pressed pattern wear guards, Extend-A-Shelf modular drawer units and LED lighting.
SL132 Service Body
Reading is expanding its popular SL service body line to include the newly designed SL132. The larger body is in a dual wheel configuration and comes standard with features customers have come to expect, including Dual-Pro door seals, an Aluma-Fill fuel cup, stainless steel rotary locks and a slam-action tailgate. Every SL service truck body moves through Reading’s exclusive E-coat primer and powder coat finish process for outstanding rust and corrosion resistance.
Redi-Dek Gooseneck
The Redi-Dek premium heavy duty steel platform body is a convenient pickup bed replacement that can be customized to meet customers’ needs. It was designed to deliver years of performance under tough job conditions. At NTEA, attendees will see the re-designed Redi-Dek Gooseneck model, featuring a new bulkhead for improved visibility, a new gooseneck hitch mounted to the chassis with a user-friendly lift and slide door, and angled rear corners for improved trailer maneuverability.
Concept Classic Service Van (CSV) with Roll-Doors
The aluminum CSV comes loaded with exclusive Reading features such as Dual-Pro door seals, stainless steel paddle locks and patented hidden hinges to protect cargo. Premium quality and innovative design principles have led the CSV since it first launched. At NTEA’s Work TruckShow, however, the CSV will showcase concepts new to the industry in order to gauge valuable customer feedback. The CSV will feature roll-updoors on the curb and street-side front compartments, as well as full size roll-up doors at the rear cargo access. Standard on beverage, security and rescue vehicles, roll-up doors are new to work trucks. When working in confined spaces, these new doors can simplify access and improve productivity.

Isuzu low-cab-forward trucks have set world standards for performance, practicality, dependability and economy. The Reading Tool-Pro marries a lightweight aluminum body with the sophisticated Isuzu NPR ECO-MAX powertrain to create a truck that optimizes fuel efficiency. Designed to maximize driver productivity for years to come, the Tool-Probody has plenty of room to store a wide variety of equipment. It comes with all the standard features of a Reading premium aluminum body, and will be available exclusively through Isuzu authorized dealers for an introductory period.
