The Parker Hannifin line of Electrically Heated SCR Hose Assemblies have expanded to offer 4mm and 5.5mm EPDM heated hoses for special order with IP6X, IPX8 and IPX9K certifications. The electrically heated hoses have a thaw profile that performs better than traditional coolant-heated hoses, according to the company. Parker SCR hoses encapsulate the heating elements with an extruded sheath for better protection and long-lasting uniform heating. The overmold on the fittings provides impact and water resistance. The hoses have multiple options for fittings, electrical connectors and overall lengths that allow customization. The hoses can be manufactured for 12V or 24V systems.
