The Car Care Council has launched a new online newsroom at media.carcare.org to provide members of the media with easy access to the latest car care news, up-to-date social media communications and a convenient resource gallery.

Members of the media can subscribe to receive news releases sent directly to their email address by visiting the newsroom at media.carcare.org/email-alerts.

“The new Car Care Council Newsroom is an easy-to-navigate hub of car care information and resources,” said Rich White, executive director, Car Care Council. “We know that members of the media are very busy people, so we built this site to make sure that when they visit, they can find valuable auto care information quickly and easily. By signing up to receive press releases as they are distributed, Car Care Council news can come right to them.”

Site features include frequently updated car care news in both English and Spanish; current social media feeds, including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, YouTube and Flickr; and a resource gallery with images and videos that can be used with attribution when citing the Car Care Council.

The Car Care Council is the source of information for the “Be Car Care Aware” consumer education campaign promoting the benefits of regular vehicle care, maintenance and repair to consumers. For a free copy of the council’s popular Car Care Guide or for more information, visit the council’s consumer education website at www.carcare.org.
