Snap-on Diagnostics: This is actually the third-generation of our MODIS platform. And MODIS Edge can connect to the internet with Wi-Fi, so it gives the technician access to far more resources than previous tools. Exclusive resources like SureTrack expert information, to leverage the experience of millions of successful repair orders; And frequently used information, like Oil Specs and Resets. There is also more technology and speed built-in, like our new Instant Vehicle ID, One-Touch Full-Vehicle scan and Vehicle System Report.

PTEN: How does it help automotive technicians save time and do their jobs easier?

Snap-on Diagnostics: It simply puts more power and information in one tool, at their fingertips, plus guidance like our exclusive Guided Component Tests, that show how to test, where to connect and what results to look for.

PTEN: What types of jobs/applications does the tool work well for?

Snap-on Diagnostics: With broad OEM-specific scanner coverage and vehicle-specific component tests for over 40 vehicle makes, MODIS Edge is really an all-encompassing diagnostic tool for anything from undercar, maintenance and service jobs, to drivability diagnostics and everything in-between.
