McCarthy Tire Service, a commercial tire dealer, has purchased P.J. Dooling Tire Co. in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The company specializes in industrial and off-the-road (OTR) tire sales and service, with a special expertise in foam filling and pressing.
“I am looking forward to working with the Dooling Team,” said John D. McCarthy Jr., president of McCarthy Tire Service. “This acquisition is a great addition to our existing footprint. The Dooling family exhibits many of the same ‘service the customer’ philosophies that we have, so we believe it will be a seamless transition for their customers.”
Dooling Tire’s tire sales and service operations will be merged into McCarthy Tire’s current commercial location in nearby Trainer, Pennsylvania. Twelve employees, including brothers Greg and Paul Dooling, will join McCarthy Tire Service.
“We are excited to continue our 110-year family tradition as part of McCarthy Tire Service," Greg Dooling said.
The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
