Drivemode and Urgent.ly partner to bring connected car services to smartphones
Drivemode, the mobile-based automotive technology company, announced a new integration with roadside assistance technology provider Urgent.ly. Through this integration, Drivemode's active users across 180 countries will have in-app access to Urgent.ly's roadside assistance.
This convergence of the automotive and high-tech sectors grants drivers access to connectivity features, the latest apps, and all of the technology in their phones as though it is embedded in the car, allowing their focus to remain on the road.
This is Drivemode's first partnership since it announced its $6.5 million series A funding round, led by Panasonic corporation. Urgent.ly, which provides roadside assistance technology through both branded and white label products, will be featured within Drivemode's app, alongside other partners such as Spotify, WhatsApp, and Waze.
