The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) approved the trademark applications for the visual appearance of the Fumoto Engine Oil Drain Valve (U.S. Registration Numbers 5179055 and 5193900).
"The significance in gaining these trademarks is that it proves that the Fumoto product design has been recognized as distinctive by consumers, and as a source of identifying the product," the company says.
Fumoto provides their trademarked Fumoto Valve for thousands of engine oil drain applications. The Japanese engineering and precision that goes into every single valve they produce have been the standard in the market for the last 40 years, according to the company.
