Bosch expands braking, engine management, and spark plug product lines

Bosch has added new parts coverage in May and June for more than 25 million vehicles in operation in North America. The new SKUs fit select vehicles including BMW, Chrysler, Ford, Hyundai, Jaguar, Mercedes-Benz, Toyota, and more.

Bosch Brake Pads

10 new SKUs were added to the Bosch QuietCast Brake Pad product line. The new part numbers extend coverage to more than 1.2 million late-model Asian, domestic, and European vehicles in operation (VIO) in the U.S. and Canada, including the 2017-2018 Honda CRV, 2017 Genesis G90, 2016-2019 Dodge Durango, and more. The new part numbers include synthetic lubricant with all applications and a hardware kit on select applications. Bosch QuietCast Brake Pads are developed for the generalist who works on all makes and models.

10 new SKUs have been added to the Bosch Blue Disc Brake Pad product line to cover more than 1.2 million VIO, including the 2018 Jeep Compass, 2018 Toyota C-HR, 2016-2017 Hyundai Sonata, and more. The pads feature multi-layer shims that provide superior noise dampening and are designed to deliver quality and performance. Bosch Spark Plugs

Bosch expanded its spark plug product line with 28 new SKUs to provide extended coverage to more than 23 million Asian, domestic, and European VIO. The new SKUs feature double iridium pin-to-pin, double iridium, iridium, double platinum, platinum, and copper with nickel technology for today’s advanced engines with gasoline-direct injection (GDI), turbochargers and superchargers, as well as naturally aspirated engines.

• 11 OE Fine Wire Double Iridium Spark Plug SKUs cover vehicles including the 2016-2017 Lexus CT200h, 2013-2016 Ford Escape, 2014-2019 Jaguar F-Type, and more.
• Two OE Fine Wire Iridium Spark Plug SKUs cover vehicles including the 2013-2017 Ford Taurus, 2013-2019 Lincoln MKZ, 2015-2017 Nissan Versa Note, and more.

Bosch Hot-Film Air-Mass Meter

One new SKU has been added to the Bosch Hot-Film Air-Mass Meter product line, extending coverage to 211,000 BMW vehicles in operation between 2016-2018 model years. The hot-film air-mass meter is guaranteed to match vehicle requirements for performance, drivability, fuel economy, and emissions.
