Technical training topics will include ADAS calibration, high voltage vehicle technology, advanced driveability, diagnosing turbo problems, ultrasonic diagnostics, and fixing the no-start.
For business management, these sessions will include driving shop profit through shop production, revolutionizing service advising, what Gen Y and Z are looking for in the workplace, building a dream team, and designing recession-resilient SOPs.
Some of the automotive industry's top trainers will lead the training sessions, including Eric Zeigler, EZ Diagnostic Solutions Inc.; Greg Bunch, Transformers Institute and Aspen Auto Clinic; Rich Falco Jr., Diag on Demand; Rick White, 180BIZ; Cecil Bullard, the Institute for Automotive Business Excellence; Bill Haas and Sara Fraser, Haas Performance Consulting; Seth Thorson, EV Tech LLC; Keith Perkins, L1 Automotive Training; Isaac Rodell, Auto Rescue Tools; and Robert Kenney, instructor at Hudson Valley Community College.
A panel of shop owners reviewed more than 400 submissions and selected beginner, intermediate, and advanced-level training in Joe's Grage that would best prepare service professionals to meet the challenges and opportunities of today and tomorrow.
In addition, Joe's Garage will feature LIVE Car Training with sessions including Everything EV, Tesla drivetrain problem solving, plus an overview of Tesla Information Resources and factory scan tools. New this year, WorldPac/WTI will offer 12 training sessions, including Audi and VW diagnostic strategies, Mercedes-Benz diagnostics, and how to become an exceptional leader.
This year, many training topics align with ASE Certification tests and can help prepare for the certifications noted in session descriptions. Sessions range in length from one to four hours depending on the topic. The fee per session is $150 or attendees may select the special AAPEX Seminar Package, which includes five training sessions of their choice, for $400.
