14,000-pound capacity scissor alignment lift

Feb. 26, 2008

John Bean has unveiled their 14,000-pound capacity scissor alignment lift, model 4814605AF. Features include:

  • Open space between the decks for improved access.
  • A 210" deck length with 154" 4-wheel, or 178" 2-wheel alignment wheelbases, as well as 186" for general service.
  • 4 heavy-duty lifting cylinders to help keep the lift level at all heights.
  • Contained top and bottom slide blocks for smoother and more uniform lifting.
  • Larger, twin interlocking mechanical safety racks with 18 level and locked positions. Air actuated mechanical locks, pressure sensing flow control valves and velocity fuses are also provided.
  • 72" flush-mount slip plates that John Bean says are maintenance-free, because of openings in the deck that help disperse dirt and water.
  • Reinforced, 26" wide decks and a full-length base frame for added durability and accuracy.
  • An 8-position adjustable work step on each side.
  • Distance between decks can be set at 38" to 42" at installation. 7,000-pound rolling jacks can also be adapted to the chosen distance.
  • An enclosed console protects electronic and hydraulic components, while a polyester and acrylic finish protect the exterior.
  • A flush-mounted model is also available with drive-through capabilities.
