Snap-on Tools has made available a SPECIAL EDITION Dale Earnhardt Jr. Tool Wagon (KRLP7002PJR) and Roll Cab (KRL7022PJR) that offer 93,500 and 25,864 cubic inches of storage space and have graphic panels and illustrations of Dale Earhardt Jr. and the famous #8 car. The two units will be available in the southern and western regions of the United States beginning June 2004. The units will then be available in the Midwest and eastern regions beginning in September 2004. The Snap-on Tool Wagon brings the pit cart concept to professional technicians and features:
- 11 total drawers including 2 full width drawers-one 5" and one 3" deep.
- Two lockers with adjustable shelves and drawers.
- A 21" deep locking riser system provides access to a stainless steel workbench when opened.
- 8" wheels, 16" pneumatic tires and dress plate fenders.
- A heavy duty 12-gauge steel platform with 7-gauge steel twin beam for additional strength.
- While in motion, this unit provides an automotive anti-scrub steering system, as well as an outside turning radius of 150".
- A dual cam twin disc brake system that can stop the wagon in its tracks by pulling up or down on the handle. The Special Edition Roll Cab is manufactured with "Class 1" heavy duty steel and additionally features:
- 11 drawers that include heavy duty ball bearing slides.
