The Meritor line of high-amp alternators offer up to 325 amps of power for vehicles with heavy electrical loads. The higher amperage allows lower engine horsepower usage and increased fuel savings. The high-amp alternators are manufactured with the same bolt pattern as competitive units and fit most applications. They replace many 180-, 190-, 200-, 220-, 240-, 270- and 320-amp original equipment models. The alternators are designed to accept ignition start or self-exciting protocols and are covered by a one-year warranty from the date of installation.
