EnerSys announces a new BCI Group 65 battery to its Odyssey line of performance batteries: the PC1700/65. As a Group 65 battery, the PC1700/65 meets specific length, width and height dimensions, which allow the battery to be used across a wide range of applications, including cars, light trucks, construction vehicles, and tractor-trailers. The PC1700/65's AGM (absorbed glass mat) technology offers deep cycling capabilities of 400 charge/discharge cycles to 80 percent depth of discharge, while providing serious cranking power.
