The Fitch Fuel Catalyst from Advanced Power Systems International is a permanent fuel treatment device that reformulates fuel oil and suppresses growth of bacteria in fuel. Tested on a 350 HP Johnson boiler, the Fitch Fuel Catalyst reduced fuel consumption by 5 percent, reduced CO by 98 percent, NOx by 15 percent and increased efficiency by 1.2 percent. Test facility reported carbon deposits were reduced by as much as 70 percent which facilitates better heat transfer, efficiency and reduced maintenance.
