PFM 9.2 DRO brake lathe

Feb. 26, 2008

The Pro-Cut International PFM 9.2 DRO Rotor is a mid-sized lathe with everything shops need to service rotors including a fixed-post trolley, speed-lock cutting head, and electronic reporting that monitors lathe use, efficiency, and ROI. A patented PFM computer controls the flow of information from a sensor inside the lathe and instructs a solenoid to make fine adjustments until the lateral run out is at or below 0.001". The entire process from installation of the adapter to a perfectly resurfaced and matched rotor takes as little as six minutes. This is the only lathe approved by all OEMs, according to the company. A live digital run-out displays the LRO of finished work and tracks ROI. This unit features a fully adjustable four-wheel trolley for work on any lift or without a lift. The speed-Lock cutting head with "zero set" cutting depth knobs and zero tool setup increases speed and durability. This unit has adapters available to fit everything from a Smart Car to an F750 dually, and everything in between. This set also includes the BrakeSaver Point of Purchase marketing and training program.
