D-A AutoTrans 5 is a heavy-duty, fully synthetic blend automatic transmission fluid that meets performance requirements for Allison "New World" transmissions. It is also approved for transmissions requiring Dexron III, Allison Type C-4 and Ford Mercon/Mercon V. AutoTrans 5 is suitable for severe service applications (up to 50,000 miles) and for extended drain intervals in normal service applications (up to 100,000 miles). It offers excellent corrosion resistance to all types of metals used in transmissions and hydraulic systems, plus provides superior friction retention as well as thermal and oxidation stability.
