Boom Mat Multi-Purpose Damping Tape

The DEI Boom Mat Multi-Purpose Damping Tape is designed for automotive and non-automotive applications. This tape can be used to cover and protect wire and cable harnesses along floorboards, improve stereo acoustics and add to any place where plastic against plastic creates chafing. The tape can also be used to eliminate rattles along door panels, floor pans, deck lids and trunk areas. Boom Mat Damping Tape is made if 2.5mm thick butyl rubber with aluminum facing and comes as a 2" by 20' roll. The easy to remove clear plastic release liner helps make application a quick peel and stick process. The tape adheres securely to most materials, including metal, aluminum, fiberglass, plastic, foam padding and fabric.
