VpCI-105 Corrosion Protector

Feb. 4, 2019

The Cortec VpCI-105 Corrosion Protector is a self-stick cup that can be placed inside vehicle electrical boxes to protect metal electrical contacts from corrosion. The device emits vapor phase corrosion inhibitors that form a protective coating on all metal surfaces in the enclosure. This provides long-term protection against corrosion, even in the presence of adverse conditions including salt, moisture, airborne contaminants, SO2 and other corrosive elements. By inserting VpCI emitters in electrical cabinets of vehicles, fleet owners can extend the service life of electricals, the company says. One VpCI-105 emitter protects up to five cubic feet of space.
