General Tools & Instruments displayed two wireless video camera inspection scopes consisting of a standard base unit with a detachable 3.5” color monitor. They can zoom or flip the image 180 degrees, and they’ll store video and still images on a 2GB SD card. Though scopes have been around for a couple of years, the company just released a new wireless receiver for them that plugs into the USB port of a PC. This allows the scopes’ images to be shown to customers, uploaded to a website or even streamed over the Internet via Skype.
