handheld DSO/DMM

A series of high performance, handheld DSO/DMMs have been introduced by Protek Test and Measurement featuring record lengths of 125 kB and real time sampling rates to 200 Ms/S. The new entries consist of the 60MHz Model (860), the 40MHz Model (840) and a 20MHz Model (820). The 40 MHz model also features a repetitive sampling rate of 2.5 Gs/S, and the 60 MHz Model has a rate of 5Gs/S. The dual channel DSOs have a deep 125kB record length as well as high sampling rates, ensuring an excellent tool for capturing high speed glitches and analyzing digital and analog signals in fine detail. Along with a built-in FFT for signal analysis, these DSOs provide 4 math functions, including a zoom function for expanding a segment of waveforms of interest; 20 automatic waveform measurements, and a USB interface for high speed communication with a PC. An optional USB host port Flash Memory significantly increases waveform storage capabilities. The Model 820 is priced at $1,072.00; the Model 840 at $1,336.00; and the Model 860 at $1,559.99. Standard accessories include AC/DC Adaptor, 7.2 V NiMH rechargeable battery pack, two x1x10 Oscilloscope Probes, USB cable with software, meter test leads, user manual, and holster. USB flash memory modules are optional along with clamp current probes and carrying pouch.
