The CTA Tools 2-pc BMW B38/B48 Crankshaft Service Tool Set, No. 2022, is designed to service BMW B38 and B48 engines. The kit includes two tools: BMW B38/B48 Press Off Tool, No. 2301, and BMW B38/B48 Crankshaft Holding Tool, No. 2302. The 2301 is used for disassembling counterbalance shaft gears and is capable of removing press-on gears. It can be used with a standard open-end 24mm hex wrench. The 2302 is used for holding the crankshaft during service work. The kit is ideal for work on 330e, 740e, i8, MINI Cooper, and Countryman models.
