Wiha Tools has enhanced their line of TorqueControl Screwdrivers with the Easy Torque, T-handle TorqueControl, TorqueVario-S and TorqueFix. According to the company, each is equipped with an ergonomic, cushion-grip, 2-component handle to furnish the maximum achievable torque and user comfort. The TorqueVario-S, TorqueFix and Torque T-handle come with certificates of calibration. Interchangeable blades are available in Torx, TorxPlus, MagicSpring Torx, hex inch/metric, Phillips and slotted.
The Easy Torque features a lighterweight, robust design; an internal mechanism that slips when torque value is reached; and a release accuracy of +/- 10 percent.
The T-handle TorqueControl features a light, compact design; an audible click when the desired torque setting is acquired; and a preset, fixed torque with +/- 6 percent accuracy.
The TorqueVario-S features a continuously adjustable torque value with the TorqueSetter, which prevents accidental alterations, and an integrated window scale to display torque value. The TorqueVario-S ESD was developed for use in anti-static environments, whereas the TorqueVario-S Insulated provides safety when working with electrical components.
The TorqueFix features a 50 percent greater reverse torque; an audible click when preset torque is attained; an automatic reset for the next torque cycle; and a tolerance of +/- 6 percent.
