The KNIPEX 7 1/4" Pliers Wrench is lighter in weight than the previous model and features an increased jaw capacity from 1-3/8" to 1-1/2", as well as a narrow jaw profile for accessibility into confined areas. The Pliers Wrench is available in black atramentized finish (No. 86 01 180) or in the original chrome plated finish (No. 86 03 180). The parallel jaws evenly distribute force for a secure grip that is 10 times the pressure applied to the handles, the company says. In addition, it includes recessed areas for grip, laser-etched markings in both metric and imperial, and a pinch guard to prevent operators’ fingers being pinched.
