The Mayhew Tools 4-pc ProGrip Hook & Pick Set, No. 13094, was designed for an array of industrial, automotive, and hardware applications. Some applications include removing seals, o-rings, cotter pins, clamps, gaskets, washers, hooking up springs, or as a hole marker or punch. All four picks are packaged in a self-contained, re-usable storage tray that fits most tool boxes. The set features an ergonomically designed and patented ProGrip handle on four U.S.A.-made picks: a straight pick (No. 13223), hook pick (No. 13224), dual-angle pick (No. 13225), and 90-degree bend pick (No. 13227). The handle’s ribs around its neck allow for maximum transfer of torque from the hand to the tool and a slip-free grip when pushing or prying. The rounded end rolls smoothly onto the heel of the palm, reducing friction and hand fatigue.
