Permatex PermaShield Gasket Dressing and Flange Sealant provides fluid resistance and also withstands extreme temperature changes without hardening. It's non-setting, non-hardening gel formulation stays tacky, allowing for easy parts removal and repositioning without the need for reapplication. It seals surface imperfections between metal parts with an operating temperature range of -60 degrees F to 500 degrees F (-50 degrees C to 260 degrees C). Resistant to common engine fluids including oil, gasoline, ethanol, water and anti-freeze. It prevents contamination from moisture and dust, and withstands heavy vibrations for use with high-performance applications.
