    ECT3000 Intelligent Short and Open Finder

    The Power Probe TeK ECT3000 Intelligent Short and Open Finder makes locating shorts and opens more accurate by showing the direction to follow and distance from the wire the user is chasing. When the ECT3000 Transmitter is connected to an isolated circuit, it will quickly determine if the circuit has an open or if the circuit is shorted to ground. The ECT3000 receiver is designed to detect signals from the transmitter and its new adjustable distance indicator allows for accurate detection. Additional hardware is included for testing lighting systems, connecting to universal adapters, tapping into fuse terminals, for backprobing connectors, piercing a wire and connecting to a terminal. A blow molded case comes included to store the ECT3000 and all the accessories.
