Santech Industries Thermistor Tester, No. MT3701, specifically tests thermistor and sun load sensor circuits. The tester can be placed in-line between the sensor and wiring harness connector. It operates on an ohm signal. The unit has an ECM mode which reads the signal and manual mode that can change input signals. This helps check if the sensor can have an effect in turning the A/C compressor off and on. In this way, the tool can verify if a sun load sensor needs to be replaced. The Kit includes one set of universal leads.
